minggu lepas pada 6hb nov, Pak Mat Kepiah Tinggi (PMKT) telah pulang ke Rahmatullah. sy menerima berita pada mlm tersebut dari menantu arwah. sy mula mengenali arwah pada bulan jun thn lepas semasa mengambil gambar kenduri anak beliau. selalunya pengantin2 yg sy shoot yg akan terus menjadi kawan tp itu lah kali pertama bapa pengantin yg kekal berkawan dgn sy. mmg byk yg sy pelajari dari arwah. bukan sj ttg kamera tp juga ttg kehidupan. semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas roh beliau.
antara gambar terakhir arwah yg sy ambil pada bulan lepas semasa sesi teh tarik. kalau tak silap sy beliau ada membawa bersama eos 1ds yg baru dibelinya.
kali pertama sy melihat beliau bersama lens putihnya sewaktu majlis bertandang anak perempuan beliau pada bulan jun thn lepas.
keluarga beliau akan mengadakan kenduri arwah selepas isyak pada hari rabu ini (12/11/08) di rumah mereka di jln pegawai, alor star. sy menerima wakil utk menjemput semua yg mengenali arwah ke majlis tersebut. sila hubungi sy 019-5722470 kiranya ingin turut serta tp tak tahu jalan.
note: this is my last entry in fotopages. i hope all comments will focus on the subject only. pls respect the dead. i know i shoot crappy pics & those who love to point that out pls do so at another time.

this is long overdue. went to apit & nur's reception in penang on 23rd of august with rozlihad (rodzihad"s brother) & stayed around for their first outdoor session. scharewl was their OP with black tagging him.
 
had a buka puasa with some friends on 13th of sept at my studio. just a small gathering actually to discuss the direction of wedding photography.

joined a photography class last month at college heights jitra. we really had a blast. adhadi was a very competent instructor. kudos mr. adhadi! not many can meter exposure with just a palm

shot festival tari malaysia on the night silmi came to alor star for his night photography outing. results of his outing can be viewed at his FP.
i tried bumping in-camera contrast setting all the way up & shot without flash for this event. fared poorly i think. tosha got far better images of this event.

at dawn of july 1st, a car my brother-in-law drove had an accident near slim river. an avanza hit the car from behind at high speed. i was driving another car ahead of him at the time. we were on our way to register our niece, fatin amirah, into an IPT in bangi. everybody in his car was treated & discharged at slim river hospital albeit one. fatin was referred to ipoh hospital & her condition was critical. besides a broken right thigh, she suffered an internal head bleeding and concussion. she was in a coma.

while i was in ipoh, lan from studio an & jan came to see me. i wish to thank them both for finding time to meet me.
another thing i wish to mention here is the hospitality of perakians. from slim river to ipoh, we were greeted with only kindness & understanding by all. a truly generous gesture.
