workshop @ langkawi ...
|
|
few months back anuardee asked me to do a simple workshop for available light shooting + editing at langkawi and last weekend we managed to conduct one. it was more of an outing among friends. i hope everyone got something valuable out of this workshop.
in front of cik mat's shop @ langkawi parade. one of us bought a 17-50mm 2.8 from him that day.
ready to shoot before we were hustled out by the security. apparently, we were in the restricted area.
our model, catherine, falling into willing arms. everybody wants a piece of the action  .
group shot at the end of the session.
after the editing class, catherine was asked to pick two images she liked best from the participants. these are the two she chose.

went to shoot in penang last friday (18/4) & got together with few photogs at megamall bowling afterwards.

met the person behind blacksdesign a day after (19/4). he came to see me while i was covering a wedding @ tapak pesta. thoughtful & firm in his belief.

went out outing @ gua kelam yesterday (20/4) with Pak Mat Kepiah Tinggi, Khairul, Tosha & his wife.

later during dinner, i tried Tosha's 40D at iso 3200. Color banding was evident but not as bad as my 20D at iso 1600.
auto-fixed with CS plug-in noiseware.

i got to meet pak wan at kota kuala kedah yesterday after a shooting assignment. pakwan is really modest & willingly share his knowledge. he owns a wide range of nikon & canon gears though he now shoot primarily with nikon D200. the outing was organised by abg sham & few friends.

while covering my 1st wedding during the school break @ sp.
 
 
I have also met a new photog, Khairul Anuar, after the wedding. spotted penghulu Datuk G while i was enjoying my soup at makbul rest. Khairul was tagging along him for a shoot in sp. we were then joined by Neekman & Zamri. thx man for picking up the bill
